Art Direction & Packaging Design for Tropic Labs

Conceptualising

The first conception was to literally use leaves and fruits illustrations to highlight the unique mix of ingredients of the product.

For the second conception, I tried to make leaves&flowers look more elegant because the target audience is about 18-35 years old and the first try looked way too childish.

For the third conception, I used gradients that based on brand colors. On "Base Tan" I used a gradient from dark blue to neon greenish-yellow that reminds me about sky and sand. The green color between neon yellow and dark blue is showing tropical leaves' color. It helped me to reach the main goal of the design for this brand: make it vibrant with tropical vibes (in an abstract way for young adults' target audience).

For "Tan Smart" I used the same gradient but put it reversed to highlight that customers have to use these two products one by one.

Sleeves for Tubes

I created dielines&sizes for Sleever for the Tubes from scratch. The final version that the manufactory has delivered fits perfectly the tube and stays still.

Mailer Envelope

For Mailer Envelope, I designed dielines based on the sizes provided by my client. As well as I created the design of the Envelope with a bold and catchy statement to catch the attention immediately. 

Promotion Materials

I created two videos for Instagram post promotion. I used tropic fruits to highlight the tropic ingredients of the products and the tropical vibe of the brand in general.
